Gathering together the prayers and intentions of the congregation into one concise and carefully structured prayer, the Collect is a small but deeply significant moment in the Daily Offices of the Church.

It draws the community into a shared focus, expressing in a few lines what might otherwise remain unspoken in many hearts. Yet, precisely because of its brevity and its quiet place within the liturgy, it is often overlooked or passed by without much notice.

We warmly invite you to join us each Thursday at our weekday Mass, from Thursday 11th June through to Thursday 30th July, as we explore the Collects set for various celebrations throughout the liturgical year.

To prepare ourselves for Mass, we gather at 6:20pm for a collective silence before Mass begins at 6:30pm.
