The aim of Explorations is to create a regular space in our life here for connection, conversation and growth in faith. We will be taking advantage of the remarkable cultural opportunities and the richness of our City’s history viewed through the eyes of Christian faith.
On the first Saturday of each month we will meet at a particular location for refreshments before embarking on our chosen activity usually finishing at lunchtime. Explorations will be family-friendly and a meeting place for both the Sunday 9am and 11am congregations.
[Saturday 7th October – The British Museum. Throughout history different cultures have found a variety of ways to cope with the realities of living and dying. During this visit we will be exploring how Christian faith equips us with rituals and practices to deepen our awareness of God’s presence.
